The Shield Lands is a region within Central Flanaess to the north of the City of Greyhawk with a southern border on the Nyr Dyv (Lake of Unknown Depths), while White Plume Mountain is in the northeast. There are adversaries within the Horned Society and the Border Kingdoms, and allies within Furyondy and Urnst. The Shield Lands are ruled by an independent alliance of nobles and are protected by the Knights of Holy Shielding.

The inaugural Shield Lands story arc, A Knight Bereft in Meading, introduces players to the region through a connected trilogy of adventures premiering at Fan Expo Canada on August 27, 2026.
