Not technically a Region, this is where we collect all Author Only adventures. These are special adventures, written by an Admin, Story Lead, Premier Organizer, or WOTC employee. They often deal with unique or special events, can only be run by the author, and are not otherwise released. These adventures are available in person and at online events
Author Only adventures offer the same treasure as Standard adventures. However due to the limited release, they do not offer physical certificates, even if played at their debut. They can take place in any existing or not yet assigned region. The opportunities to play these adventures tend to be relatively rare, making them a special experience.
Author Only adventures fall in the Limited Release category. This is a catch all for different kinds of adventures that are less common. These might include one-shot unique events that will not be released at other conventions that don’t fit into one of the other categories.
A Challenge adventure is a special adventure, written to be significantly tougher than normal. These are not for the faint of heart.
Challenge adventures are intended to be limited in their availability and will only show up at few and specific events.
